Fetch & Farm – Terms and Conditions (New Zealand)
Effective Date: September 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all services provided by Fetch & Farm, including Pack Walks, Daycare, and Farm Stays in New Zealand. By booking or using our services, you agree to these T&Cs.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 All bookings must be made via our website or approved channels.
1.2 Prices are GST-inclusive.
1.3 Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
1.4 We accept cash or bank transfer.
1.5 Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received or other written arrangements are agreed.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
2.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged at 100% of the booking fee.
2.3 Farm Stays require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
2.4 Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
2.5 Fetch & Farm may cancel services due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, in which case full refunds will be issued.
3. Health and Vaccinations
3.1 All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations, including:
Canine Distemper/Parvo
Kennel Cough (Bordetella)
Rabies (if applicable)
3.2 Dogs must be in good general health and free from contagious diseases.
3.3 Owners must inform Fetch & Farm of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications.
3.4 Dogs must be microchipped and wear identification collars.
4. Behaviour and Safety
4.1 Dogs must be social and obedient. Basic commands are required for Pack Walks and Daycare.
4.2 Owners must disclose aggressive behaviour or past incidents. Fetch & Farm may refuse service for dogs that pose a risk.
4.3 Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and for any damage caused.
4.4 Staff may remove a dog from a service if it endangers other dogs, staff, or itself.
5. Pack Walks
5.1 Maximum 5 dogs per handler.
5.2 Dogs will remain on lead until assessed safe to roam.
5.3 Owners must provide accurate information regarding temperament, health, and experience with other dogs.
6. Daycare
6.1 Daycare maintains a 1:10 staff-to-dog ratio.
6.2 Daily routine includes feeding, exercise, and socialisation appropriate to each dog.
6.3 Drop-off and pick-up times must be adhered to; late collection may incur additional fees.
6.4 Fetch & Farm may refuse daycare if a dog is unwell, aggressive, or otherwise non-compliant with these T&Cs.
7. Overnight Stays
7.1 Dogs are cared for overnight at Kate and Rachael's homes.
7.2 Owners must provide feeding instructions, bedding, and any required medications.
7.3 Overnight care includes supervised exercise, enrichment, and socialisation.
7.4 Fetch & Farm is not liable for unforeseeable events such as natural disasters, illness, or accidents, though all reasonable care will be taken.
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 While all reasonable care is taken, Fetch & Farm is not liable for:
Injury or illness of dogs
Loss or damage of personal items brought onto premises
Accidents during transport, walks, or farm stays
8.2 Owners are responsible for insuring their dogs if they wish.
9. Emergency Care
9.1 In an emergency, Fetch & Farm reserves the right to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
9.2 Owners will be notified as soon as possible.
10. Personal Information
10.1 Client information is collected for the purposes of bookings and animal care.
10.2 We do not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.
10.3 Personal information is stored and processed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 Fetch & Farm may update these T&Cs at any time.
11.2 Updated T&Cs will be published on our website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of New Zealand, including the Contract and Consumer Laws. Any disputes will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
13. Acceptance
By booking or using any Fetch & Farm service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
